      Recognition of the 2026 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® Award
WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District's Division of Finance, Vendor Services Department has
             earned the prestigious 2026 Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP) Award, the
             premier national recognition for excellence in public procurement presented by the
             National Procurement Institute, Inc.

WHEREAS:     The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® Award recognizes organizations that
             demonstrate the highest standards of innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-
             procurement, leadership, and continuous improvement in procurement practices.



WHEREAS:     DeKalb County School District is among 251 organizations nationwide to receive this
             distinction and is honored to be one of only 24 school districts in the United States and one
             of seven recipients in Georgia recognized for this achievement.



WHEREAS:     This award reflects the exceptional dedication of the Division of Finance and Vendor
             Services Department, whose commitment to fiscal stewardship, transparency, operational
             excellence, and service supports the District's mission and advances best practices in public
             procurement.

THEREFORE: The DeKalb County Board of Education hereby recognizes and congratulates the Division of
           Finance and Vendor Services Department for earning the 2026 Achievement of Excellence in
           Procurement® Award and commends its outstanding leadership, innovation, and
           commitment to excellence in service to the students, employees, and community of DeKalb
           County.
