        Serenity Evans - Lithonia High School - GHSA State Wrestling Bronze Medalist

WHEREAS:      The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
              Lithonia High School Girls’ wrestler Serenity Evans is committed to working hard and representing
              DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:      Lithonia High School Girls’ wrestler Serenity Evans reached the 2026 GHSA Girls’ State Wrestling
              Championships; and

WHEREAS:      Under the direction of Head Coach Devin Gainer, Serenity Evans finished third overall at the GHSA
              State Championships in her 140-weight class; and

WHEREAS:      Serenity Evans qualified for the state championships by finishing second in her State Sectional; and

THEREFORE:    We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
              of Lithonia High School girls’ wrestler Serenity Evans for having achieved one of the highest levels
              attainable by a high school girls’ wrestler. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this 11th
              day of May 2026.
