  Zuri McCalpine-Ingram - Tucker High School Girls’ Wrestling - GHSA State Silver Medalist

WHEREAS:      The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
              Tucker High School Girls’ wrestler Zuri McCalpine-Ingram is committed to working hard and
              representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:      Tucker High School Girls’ wrestler Zuri McCalpine-Ingram reached the GHSA Girls’ State Wrestling
              Championship ; and

WHEREAS:      Under the direction of Head Coach Maureen Jekielek, Zuri McCalpine-Ingram wrestled to second in
              125-pound division at the GHSA Championships and also was second in the State Sectional; and

WHEREAS:      She improved from her 2025 finish of fifth to win three matches in 2026 on the way to her runner-up
              finish; and

THEREFORE:    We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
              of Tucker High School Girls’ wrestler Zuri McCalpine-Ingram for having achieved one of the highest
              levels attainable by a high school girls’ wrestler in official recognition, we affix our signatures on this
              11th day of May 2026.
