                            Inaugural DeKalb Principal Pathway 2025
WHEREAS:     Exceptional school leaders are vital for student success, which is why the DeKalb Principals Pathway
             was created to develop the next generation of administrators. This program reflects the district’s core
             value of H-PRIDE, which fosters empathetic leadership and creates respectful school environments for
             all stakeholders;

WHEREAS:     The pathway’s rigorous curriculum and professional development opportunities embody the core
             value of Professionalism, equipping aspiring principals with the expertise and integrity needed to lead
             with excellence and accountability; and

WHEREAS:     IT IS RESOLVED, that the DeKalb County Board of Education hereby recognizes and celebrates the
             DeKalb County School District for its commitment to developing aspiring principals through the
             DeKalb Principals Pathway, a program that is fundamentally and strategically aligned with the district’s
             core values.

WHEREAS:     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board extends its profound gratitude to the following who
             successfully completed this program and who are now members of a leadership pipeline of
             exceptional school leaders for the betterment of our students and the entire DeKalb community.

THEREFORE:   On behalf of Dr. Horton, Superintendent, Champion Dillard, Chief of Schools, and Champion Michael
             Kelly, Interim Executive Director of Leadership Development, we would like to acknowledge the
             following DeKalb County School District Leaders who successfully completed the Inaugural DeKalb
             Principals Pathway 2025.
