a. Purchase of Instructional Materials and Resources (Not to exceed $10,100,000)
Summary: Presented by: Ms. Stacy E. Stepney, Chief Academic Officer, Division of Curriculum and Instruction
Request: It is requested that the Board of Education approve the purchase of previously adopted textbooks, supplemental resources, textbook management systems, and instructional materials, including print and digital resources, from Capstone, Cengage, Clairmont Press, eDynamic, Follett, Gallopade, Gibbs Smith Education, Hello World, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Imagine Learning, McGraw Hill, Pasco, Pearson, Savvas, Social Studies School Service, STEMscopes, and Studies Weekly, in an amount not to exceed $10,100,000.
Why: According to Board Policy IFA-Instructional Media, the District must provide access to instructional resources including, but not limited to, textbooks and supplementary materials. It is necessary to purchase previously adopted textbooks, supplemental resources, textbook management systems, and instructional resources needed to replenish inventory or accommodate growth.

computer science education. The license provides year-round access to
all courses, including Computer Science with Virtual Reality, Intro to
Python, Data Science & AI, Web Development, standalone AI Story
Studio projects, and Interdisciplinary Quests (IQs).
Also included is dedicated professional development for up to 2 educa‐
tors, featuring year-long 1:1 support, live Professional Learning
Community (PLC) sessions, and a streamlined PD experience: one live
or recorded kickoff session, two live admin check-ins (fall and midyear),
ongoing email support, scheduled office hours, semesterly virtual 1:1s
with your Customer Success Manager (CSM), and materials to indepen‐
dently host a student showcase event.

Unless there is a prior written agreement stating otherwise, a purchase order, a signed agreement, access granted to
subscription services, and/or the provision of professional services collectively form an agreement between the customer and
Hello World CS.
Customers providing a Purchase Order are required to remit payment within 30 days of invoicing. Otherwise, payment is
required within 14 business days. If payment is made by credit card, a 3.0% fee for the convenience of paying through a third
party will be applied to the invoice. Failure to remit payment may cause a disruption in service.
This Customer Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior written or oral
understandings, proposals, bids, offers, negotiations, agreements or communications of every kind. This Customer Agreement
and the terms contained herein are intended only for the Customer and should be kept confidential.
Once this Customer Agreement has been signed, the Customer agrees to pay the Contract Grand Total set forth above. The
individual executing this Customer Agreement has the authority to execute this agreement. By executing this Customer
Agreement, each party agrees to be legally bound by this Customer Agreement and the applicable terms and conditions.
