Dunwoody HS Girls' Golf Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
              RECOGNITION HONORING DUNWOODY HIGH SCHOOL
                              LADY WILDCAT GOLF TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Dunwoody High School Lady Wildcat golf team is committed to working hard
             and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Dunwoody High School girls’ golf team for winning the Area 3-5A golf championship and
             the DeKalb County School District County Girls’ Golf Championship; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Doug Freidlander’s girls’ golf squad finished with an impressive team total of 269 in area
             play to capture the title; and

WHEREAS:     The Wildcats Area 3-5A title qualified the team for the Class 5A State Championship
             Tournament set for May 19-20 at Sea Island Retreat Golf Couse in St. Simon Island; and

THEREFORE:   Dunwoody won the DCSD County Golf Championships girls’ title for the second consecutive
             season; and

             We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Dunwoody High School Lady Wildcat girls’ golf team for having
             achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school girls’ golf team. In official
             recognition, we affix our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
