Chamblee HS Girls' Track Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
              RECOGNITION HONORING CHAMBLEE HIGH SCHOOL
                            BULLDOG GIRLS’ TRACK TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Chamblee High School Bulldog girls’ track team is committed to working hard
             and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Chamblee High School girls’ track team for winning the Napoleon Cobb DeKalb County
             Track and Field Championships girls’ title; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Hakim Felton’s track squad finished with an impressive 70-point victory over the rest of
             the competition to capture the title, including seven county championships; and

WHEREAS:     The Bulldogs went on to a fourth-place finish in the Class 5A State Track and Field
             Championships; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Chamblee High School Bulldog girls’ track team for having achieved
             one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track team. In official recognition, we affix
             our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
