               RECOGNITION
                         HONORING DUNWOODY HIGH SCHOOL
                           WILDCAT BOYS’ BASEBALL TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Dunwoody High School Wildcat boys’ baseball team is committed to working
             hard and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Dunwoody High School Wildcat boys’ baseball team for winning the Region 4-5A baseball
             championship; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Kyle Smith’s baseball squad finished an impressive 20 wins and 1 loss in region play to
             capture the title; and

WHEREAS:     The Wildcats finished the season 30 wins and 5 losses overall after reaching the Class 5A
             State Playoffs Sweet 16; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Dunwoody High School Wildcat boys’ baseball team for having
             achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school baseball team. In official
             recognition, we affix our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
