Redan HS Track and Field Athlete NiZer Smith

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
               RECOGNITION HONORING REDAN HIGH SCHOOL
                        TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETE NIZER SMITH

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Redan High School track and field competitor NiZer Smith is committed to
             working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Redan senior NiZer Smith won Class 2A boys’ gold medal in the no-meter hurdles with a
             time of 14.61; and

WHEREAS:     He was coached by Redan track and field coach Willie Griffieth; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Redan High School track and field athlete NiZer Smith for having
             achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track and field participant.
