Stephenson HS Track and Field 4x200 Meter Relay Team

               RECOGNITION
                      HONORING STEPHENSON HIGH SCHOOL
                    TRACK AND FIELD 4X200-METER RELAY TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Stephenson High School track and field 4x200-meter relay team is committed
             to working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Stephenson relay team of Ca’Von Lucas, DeMario Minter Jr., KeMorey Hill and Todd
             Burton joined together to win the gold medal in the Class 3A 4x200-meter relay in a new state
             record time of 1:26.63; and

WHEREAS:     They were coached by Stephenson track and field coach Donald Sellers; and

WHEREAS:     The state record mark gives DeKalb County 21 current state records in the GHSA State Track
             and Field Championships; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Stephenson High School track and field 4x200-meter relay team for
             having achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track and field participant.
