Stephenson HS Boys' Track Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
              RECOGNITION
                        HONORING STEPHENSON HIGH SCHOOL
                           JAGUARS BOYS’ TRACK TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Stephenson High School Jaguars boys’ track team is committed to working
             hard and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Stephenson High School boys’ track team won the Region 5-3A boys’ and the Napoleon
             Cobb DeKalb County track and field titles; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Donald Sellers’ track squad finished with an impressive 91-point victory over the rest
             of the competition in the region meet to capture the title, including eight individual region
             championships; and

WHEREAS:     Stephenson finished with an impressive 62-point victory over the rest of the competition to
             capture the Napoleon Cobb title; and

WHEREAS:     The Jaguars went on to finish fourth in the Class 3A State Track and Field Championships; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Stephenson High School Jaguars boys’ track team for having achieved
             one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track team. In official recognition, we affix
             our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
