Miller Grove HS Track and Field Athlete Saniya Francis

             P R O C L A M AT I O N

               RECOGNITION
                      HONORING MILLER GROVE HIGH SCHOOL
                     TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETE SANIYA FRANCIS

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. Miller Grove High School track and field athlete Saniya Francis is committed to
             working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Miller Grove High School senior Saniya Francis captured the Class 2A discus gold medal with a
             toss of 120-feet, eight inches; and

WHEREAS:     She is coached by Miller Grove girls’ track and field coaches Felicia Mitchell and Eric Keddo;
             and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Miller Grove High School track and field athlete Saniya Francis for
             having achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track and field participant.
