Redan HS Boys' Baseball Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
               RECOGNITION   HONORING REDAN HIGH SCHOOL
                             RAIDERS BOYS’ BASEBALL TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Redan High School Raiders boys’ baseball team is committed to working hard
             and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Redan High School Raiders boys’ baseball squad won the Region 6-2A baseball
             championship; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Derwin McNealy’s baseball squad finished an impressive 10-0 in region play to capture
             the title; and

WHEREAS:     The Raiders finished the season 20-11 overall after reaching the Class 2A State Playoffs Sweet
             16; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Redan High School Raiders boys’ baseball team for having achieved
             one of the highest levels attainable by a high school baseball team. In official recognition, we
             affix our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
