Redan HS Boys' Track Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
               RECOGNITION   HONORING REDAN HIGH SCHOOL
                              RAIDERS BOYS’ TRACK TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Redan High School Lions boys’ track team is committed to working hard and
             representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Redan High School boys’ track team for winning the Region 6-2.A boys’ track and field title;
             and

WHEREAS:     Coach Willie Griffieth’s track squad finished with an impressive 43-point victory over the rest of
             the competition to capture the title, including six individual region championships; and

WHEREAS:     The Raiders went on to fourth place finish in the Class 2A State Track and Field
             Championships; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Redan High School Raiders boys’ track team for having achieved one
             of the highest levels attainable by a high school track team. In official recognition, we affix our
             signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
