M.L.K. Jr. HS Track and Field Athlete Braylin Grier

               RECOGNITION
                HONORING MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. HIGH SCHOOL
                   TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETE BRAYLIN GRIER

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Martin Luther King Jr. High School track and field competitor Braylin Grier is
             committed to working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Martin Luther King Jr. High School senior Braylin Grier won Class 4A boys’ gold medal in the
             800-meter run with a time of 1:54.85; and

WHEREAS:     He was coached by Martin Luther King Jr. track and field coach Fred Hammond; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Martin Luther King Jr. High School track and field athlete Braylin Grier for
             having achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a high school track and field participant.
