             P R O C L A M AT I O N
              RECOGNITION HONORING CHAMBLEE HIGH SCHOOL
                          BULLDOGS GIRLS’ LACROSSE TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Chamblee High School Bulldogs girls’ lacrosse team is committed to working
             hard and representing DeKalb Schools athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Chamblee High School girls’ lacrosse team made a historic run to the Division 2 girls’ state
             lacrosse Elite Eight; and

WHEREAS:     Coach Andrew Milne’s lacrosse squad finished the season with a 14-6 overall record while
             becoming the first DeKalb County Schools lacrosse team (boys or girls) to advance to the Elite
             Eight round of the state playoffs; and

WHEREAS:     Chamblee finished as the runner-up in the Division 2-Area 2 girls’ standings to earn the playoff
             berth; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
             of the Chamblee High School girls’ lacrosse team for having achieved one of the highest levels
             attainable by a high school lacrosse team. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this
             9th day of June 2025.
