Peachtree MS Girls' Soccer Team

             P R O C L A M AT I O N
               RECOGNITION
                       HONORING PEACHTREE MIDDLE SCHOOL
                              GIRLS’ SOCCER TEAM

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Peachtree Middle School Patriots girls’ soccer team is committed to working
             hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Peachtree Middle School girls’ soccer team won the 2025 DCSD Middle School Girls’
             County Championship with a 2-1 victory over the previously undefeated Chamblee Middle
             School; and

WHEREAS:     Coached by Laurie Smith the Patriots finished 8-o on the season; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Peachtree Middle School Patriots girls’ soccer team for having
             achieved one of the highest levels attainable by a middle school soccer team. In official
             recognition, we affix our signatures on this 9th day of June 2025.
