Chronology Flat Panels
In 2023 the district began a refresh project for interactive flat panels. RFP
18-16 Collaboration Presentation System to Virtucom, LLC was approved to
support the purchase of the interactive flat panels in the amount of
$11,026,590.
The goal of the refresh project was to provide updated ViewSonic flat panels
for teaching and learning environments to create collaborative lessons that
motivate and support student engagement and improve test scores. The
project was concluded in 2024 once all 4,050 panels had been installed.
DIIT is requesting that the Board of Education approve the purchase of
district wide Viewsonic interactive panels and services from Virtucom and
CDW-G to continue to support digital teaching and learning environments.
The requested funds will be utilized for the relocation, storage of devices,
deinstallation and reinstallation services due to renovations and HVAC
installations.
