Barack Obama ES Girls Basketball Team Recognition

                RECOGNITION
           Honoring Barack Obama Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Team


WHEREAS:      The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
              athletically. Barack Obama Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Team has been committed to
              working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:      Today, we want to celebrate the Barack Obama girls’ basketball team and coaches Marquel
              Crowder and Kourtney Goines for winning the 2025 DeKalb County Elementary Girls’
              Basketball Team.

THEREFORE:    We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
              accomplishments of the Barack Obama Elementary School Girls’ Basketball Team for having
              achieved one of the highest levels attainable by an elementary school basketball program. In
              official recognition, we affix our signatures on this 12th day of May 2025.
