Chamblee HS Boys Swim Team Recognition 2025 v1

               RECOGNITION
                         Chamblee High School Boys Swim Team
WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically; and

WHEREAS:     Chamblee High School Boys’ Swim Team has demonstrated exceptional talent, teamwork, and
             dedication throughout the 2025 season; and

WHEREAS:     The team has earned significant accomplishments, including a third-place finish at the GHSA
             Class 5A State Swimming Championships with 261 points, claiming a gold medal, a silver
             medal, and two bronze medals; and

WHEREAS:     The Bullsharks, as they are known locally, also won its third consecutive DeKalb County
             Swimming and Diving Championship and 10th overall title; and

WHEREAS:     The coaching staff, under the leadership of Coach Greg Valley and Coach Lorri Reynolds, has
             provided expert guidance and mentorship, helping each swimmer reach their full potential, in
             and out of the pool; and

WHEREAS:     The team’s success has brought pride and recognition to Chamblee High School, the school
             community, and the DeKalb County School District; and

THEREFORE:   Be it known that the DeKalb County Board of Education acknowledges the outstanding
             athletic accomplishments of the Chamblee High School Boys’ Swim Team and celebrates their
             outstanding performances. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this 12th day of
             May 2025.
