Chapel Hill MS Girls Basketball Team 2025 Recognition v1

               RECOGNITION
             Honoring Chapel Hill Middle School Girls’ Basketball Team

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Chapel Hill Lady Panthers Basketball Team is committed to working hard and
             representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Today, we want to celebrate the Chapel Hill Lady Panthers Basketball Team led by Coach
             Ronald Moye. The Lady Panthers claimed a second consecutive Georgia Middle School Girls’
             Basketball state championship with a 58-24 victory over Henderson Middle School (Jackson,
             GA); and

WHEREAS:     The Lady Panthers finished the season with a 16-1 overall record and combined with a 19-0
             mark a year ago are 35-1 over the past two seasons; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Chapel Hill Lady Panthers Basketball Team for having achieved one of
             the highest levels attainable by a middle school basketball program. In official recognition, we
             affix our signatures on this 12th day of May 2025.
