Miller Grove MS Boys Wrestling Team 2025 Recognition v1

               RECOGNITION
             Honoring Miller Grove Middle School Boys’ Wrestling Team

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Miller Grove Middle School Wolverines Boys’ Wrestling Team is committed to
             working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Today, we want to celebrate the Miller Grove Wolverines Wrestling Team led by Coach Stanley
             McCormick. The Wolverines claimed the 2025 DeKalb County Middle School Wrestling
             Championships title with a 143-133 win over the Redan Middle School Raiders; and

WHEREAS:     The Wolverines claimed 24 wins and six Top Two finishes on the way to the championship
             victory. Two of the wins came in the gold medal round; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Miller Grove Middle School Wolverines for having achieved one of the
             highest levels attainable by a middle school wrestling program. In official recognition, we affix
             our signatures on this 12th day of May 2025.
