Oak View ES Dance Team 2025 Recognition v1

               RECOGNITION
                  Honoring Oak View Elementary School Dance Team

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. The Oak View Elementary School Dance Team is committed to working hard and
             representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Today, we want to celebrate the Oak View Elementary Dance Team led by Coach Laquadra
             Moore. The dance team scored 351 points out of 400 with their performance to clinch the
             DeKalb County Elementary School Dance Championships title; and

WHEREAS:     Oak View won the Area 3 championship earlier in the season to qualify for the county
             championships where they outdueled Narvie J. Harris Elementary by a score of 351 to 322 to
             win the county team championship; and


THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Oak View Elementary School Dance Team for having achieved one of
             the highest levels attainable by an elementary dance program. In official recognition, we affix
             our signatures on this 12th day of May 2025.
