Dunwoody HS Boys 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Team 2025 Recognition v1

               RECOGNITION
       Honoring Dunwoody High School Boys’ 200-Yard Freestyle Relay Team

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and
             athletically. Dunwoody High School Boys’ 200-yard Freestyle Relay Team is committed to
             working hard and representing DeKalb athletics; and

WHEREAS:     Today, we want to celebrate the Dunwoody Wildcats 200-yard freestyle relay team of Luke
             Sandberg, Luke Amerson, Graham Chang and Andrew Halligan for an outstanding 2025
             season; and

WHEREAS:     Coached by the Dunwoody swim staff of Edmond Gibbons and Sara Reul, the relay squad
             topped off the year with a thrilling gold medal winning performance in the GHSA Class 5A State
             Swimming Championships with a time of 1:24.90; and

WHEREAS:     The group also won the gold medal in the same event at the DeKalb County Swimming and
             Diving Championships with a time of 1:29.19; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic
             accomplishments of the Dunwoody Boys’ 200-yard Freestyle Relay Team for having achieved
             one of the highest levels attainable by a high school swim relay team. In official recognition, we
             affix our signatures on this 12th day of May 2025.
