Request: It is requested that the DeKalb County Board of Education (“the Board”) approve the contract renewal of RFP 22-752-012 for Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance Services to Yellowstone Landscape SE, LLC, in the not-to-exceed amount of $5,000,000.
This is the third of four (#3 of 4), one (1) year renewal options, effective May 20, 2025, through May 19, 2026.
Why: This approval request is for contract renewal to Yellowstone Landscape SE, LLC to provide the required landscaping and lawn maintenance services district-wide on a set schedule and an as- needed basis.
This request extends the agreement through May 19, 2026.
The approval of this contract renewal meets Strategic Goal Area 6: Organizational Excellence.
Details: On April 18, 2022, the Board approved the contract award of RFP 22-752-012 to Yellowstone Landscape SE, LLC, in the not-to-exceed amount of $2,644,020.
This recommendation is for the third of four (#3 of 4) one (1) year contract renewal options.
Yellowstone Landscape SE, LLC is located at 3235 N State Street, PO Box 849 Bunnell, FL 32110.
Financial impact: It is anticipated that the cost of these services will not exceed $5,000,000 during the fiscal year and will be allocated from the General Fund Budget, Deferred Maintenance (100.2600.543013.00011.7520.9990.8013.040.0000)

Scope:
Contract Renewal – RFP 22-752-012 – Landscaping and Lawn Services –
Yellowstone Landscape SE, LLC – to provide landscaping and lawn
maintenance contracting services district-wide, on a scheduled and as-needed
basis as specified in the bid documents and Owner’s Criteria and Narrative
Scope of Work.
Contract/Renewal Term:
The DeKalb Board of Education (“the Board”) approved the award of the
contract for an initial one (1) year term (beginning service start date of May
20, 2022, for a Not to Exceed amount of $2,644,020, with four (4), one (1)
year options to renew subject to Board approval on a year-to-year basis.
The renewals terms are as follows:
Contract Year 1 -May 20, 2022 – May 19, 2023 – Not to exceed $2,644,020
• Contract Year 2, Renewal 1 (#1 of 4) – May 20, 2023, through May 19,
2024, Not to Exceed $2,750,000.
• Contract Year 3, Renewal 2 (#2 of 4) - May 20, 2024, through May 19,
2025, Not to Exceed $3,000,000
• Contract Year 4, Renewal 3 (#3 of 4) – May 20, 2025, through
May 19, 2026 – Not to Exceed $5,000,000 (current – pending)
Award
On April 18, 2022, the Board of Education approved the award of RFP 22-752-

services to DCSD, for an initial one-year term with four (4) one-year options
to renew subject to Board approval on a year-to-year basis.
This current agenda item seeks the Board of Education approval for
the third of four (#3 of 4) one-year (1-year) contract renewal options.
