Request: It is requested that the DeKalb County School District Board of Education (“the Board”) approve one of four (#1 of 4) contract renewals for RFP 24-550 Floor Covering Installation Services in the amount not to exceed $3,500,000 to:

Kidd & Associates
Why: This request is for a contract renewal for Brad Construction and Kidd & Associates to provide Floor Covering Installation Services required throughout DeKalb County School District (“DCSD”) on an as-needed basis. This approval establishes a pool of qualified contractors that will provide Floor Covering Installation services for both the Facilities Maintenance Department and DCSD’s E-SPLOST Capital Improvement Program.
This request extends the agreement with the above-captioned vendors for an additional year through 2026.
Approval of the contract renewal meets Strategic Goal Area 6: Organizational Excellence.
Details: On February 10, 2024, the Board of Education approved Brad Construction Company II, LLC, and Kidd & Associates Flooring & Contracting LLC as the most responsive and responsible offerors to provide district-wide Floor Covering Installation Services.
This request renews the contract for an additional year to the above-captioned vendors from May 24, 2025-May 23, 2026.

Financial impact: The total contract amount for these services in the amount not to exceed $3,500,000 will be allocated from various General Fund and E-SPLOST charge codes.

Reference: RFP 24-550 Floor Covering Installation Services – Renewal Request
Dear Mr. Hanif:
The DeKalb County School District (“DCSD”) desires to renew the award of RFP 24-500 Floor Covering Installation
Services, for one (1) year on the same terms, conditions, and pricing as set forth in the Agreement between DCSD
and Brad Construction Company II LLC dated March 26, 2024. The purpose of this letter is to obtain Brad
Construction Company II LLC’s acceptance of DCSD’s offer to renew the Agreement.
The renewal is subject to the DeKalb County Board of Education’s (“Board”) approval and will be effective from
March 26, 2025, through March 25, 2026. Of course, we will notify you once the Board has approved the renewal.
DCSD appreciates Brad Construction Company II LLC’s consideration of this offer to renew the award of RFP 24-550.
If accepted, please submit a copy of your company’s proof of insurance reflecting the coverage(s) stated within the
original solicitation document, sign the acceptance below, and email both documents no later than Tuesday,
November 19, 2024, to Latrice Brown at Latrice_Brown@dekalbschoolsga.org. Insurance policy or policies must be
maintained throughout the term of this agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements is included.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Brad Construction Company II LLC hereby accepts DeKalb County School District’s offer to renew the award of RFP
24-550, Floor Covering Installation Services as set forth in the Agreement until March 26, 2026. Brad Construction
Company II LLC understands that this acceptance is subject to the approval of the DeKalb County Board of Education.
