Request: It is requested that the DeKalb County School District Board of Education (“the Board”) approve the fourth of four (#4 of 4) contract renewals for ITB 20-752-037 for Plumbing Contractor Services in the amount not to exceed $5,000,000 to:
K.E.G. Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc.
MAXAIR Mechanical, LLC
Sid’s Sewer and Drain, Inc.
The Elite Plumber, LLC
Why: This request is contract renewal for Elite Plumber, LLC, K.E.G. Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc., MAXAIR Mechanical, LLC and Sid’s Sewer and Drain, Inc. to provide plumbing services on an as needed basis for various remodeling, renovations, life safety, and maintenance and repair projects locations throughout DeKalb County School District (“DCSD”) in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Approval of the contract renewal meets Strategic Goal Area 6: Organizational Excellence.
Details: On December 7, 2020, the Board of Education approved K.E.G. Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc., MAXAIR Mechanical, LLC, Sid’s Sewer and Drain, Inc., and The Elite Plumber, LLC as the most responsive and responsible offeror to provide district wide plumbing services.
This request renews the contract for an additional year to:
K.E.G. Plumbing & Mechanical, Inc. - April 23, 2025- April 22, 2026
MAXAIR Mechanical, LLC - March 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026
Sid’s Sewer and Drain, Inc. - February 19, 2025 - February 18, 2026
The Elite Plumber, LLC - February 19, 2025 - February 18, 2026
This recommendation is for the fourth of four (#4 of 4) one-year (1-year) contract renewal options.
Financial impact: The total contract amount for these services in the amount not to exceed $5,000,000 will be allocated from the General Fund Budget, Repair & Maintenance Service (100.2600.543000.00011.7520.9990.8013.040.0000).

Reference: ITB No. 20-752-037, Plumbing Contract Services – Renewal Request
Dear Mr. Sterling:
The DeKalb County School District (“DCSD”) desires to renew the award of ITB No. 20-752-037 for one (1) year on
the same terms, conditions, and pricing as set forth in the License and Services Agreement between DCSD and
MAXAIR Mechanical. The purpose of this letter is to obtain MAXAIR Mechanical’s acceptance of DCSD’s offer to
renew the License and Services Agreement.
The renewal is subject to the DeKalb County Board of Education’s (“Board”) approval and will be effective from
February 19, 2025, through February 18, 2026. Of course, we will notify you once the Board has approved the
renewal. DCSD appreciates MAXAIR Mechanical’s consideration of this offer to renew the award of ITB No. 20-752-
037.
If accepted, please submit a copy of your company’s proof of insurance reflecting the coverage(s) stated within the
original solicitation document, sign the acceptance below, and email both documents to
Latrice_Brown@dekalbschoolsga.org no later than Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Insurance policy or policies
must be maintained throughout the term of this agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements is included.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
MAXAIR Mechanical hereby accepts DeKalb County School District’s offer to renew the award of ITB No. 20-752-
037, Plumbing Contractor Services, as set forth in the License and Services Agreement, until February 18, 2026.
MAXAIR Mechanical understands that this acceptance is subject to the approval of the DeKalb County Board of
Education.
