DIRECTOR SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING
ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Key Accomplishments: Build and designed systems for the SEL Instructional Framework that guides
programming for the explicit instruction of social emotional learning, the academic integration of SEL and the
alignment of SEL with other strategic district initiatives. Received the Equity Champion Award for work on
Culturally and Linguistically Responsive practices. Received CASEL’s SELLY award for national leadership and
advancement of SEL. Completed Gallup Strength Coaching and Boss to Coach Programs.

Key Accomplishments: Build and designed systems for the school’s Instructional Framework that
guided all instruction in the middle school setting. Increased the number of students enrolled in and
earning credit for high school level courses. Worked collaboratively with elementary schools to align
work and design pathways to accelerated course work for underrepresented students. Increased the
academic proficiency rates of all subgroups on the Georgia Milestones. Increased the number of
teachers certified in Gifted, ESOL, Special Education, and High School Level Content.
