The DeKalb County Board of Education held its Virtual Called Meeting & Strategic Plan Board
Work Session, March 6, 2024.

Mr. Diijon DaCosta, Sr., Chair, convened the meeting at 12: 05 p.m. and noted the following
were also in attendance; Mrs. Vickie B. Turner, Mrs. Anna Hill, Mrs. Deirdre P. Pierce, Ms.
Allyson Gevertz, Ms. Whitney McGinniss, and Dr. Devon Q. Horton, Superintendent.

Also in attendance was Ms. Carolyn Lloyd Executive Administrator to the Board, Dr. Andre L.
Harrison, Vice President Accreditation Services, Cognia. Ms. Aurora Lora, Facilitator, Insight
Education Group joined the meeting at 1:00 pm.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Mr. DaCosta, Sr. requested that the DeKalb County Board of Education adopt the March 6, 2024,
Strategic Plan Work Session agenda.

There being no objections, the agenda was approved.

Mr. DaCosta, Sr. noted there were no objections, the Virtual Called Meeting & Strategic Plan
Board Work Session adjourned at 2:52 p.m.
