                          STRATEGIC PLAN WORK SESSION

                       DEKALB COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION

                                      December 11, 2023

The DeKalb County Board of Education held its Strategic Plan Work Session, December 11, 2023,
in the Cabinet Room at the Robert R. Freeman Administrative Complex at 1701 Mountain
Industrial Boulevard Stone Mountain, GA 30083.

Mr. Diijon DaCosta, Sr., Chair, convened the meeting at 10:35 a.m. and noted the following
were also in attendance; Mrs. Vickie B. Turner, Mrs. Anna Hill, Mrs. Deirdre P. Pierce, Ms.
Allyson Gevertz, Ms. Whitney McGinniss, and Dr. Devon Q. Horton, Superintendent.

Also in attendance was Ms. Carolyn Lloyd Executive Administrator to the Board and Facilitator,
Ms. Aurora Lora.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Mr. DaCosta, Sr. requested that the DeKalb County Board of Education adopt the December 11,
2023, Strategic Plan Work Session agenda.

There being no objections, the agenda was approved.

Mr. DaCosta, Sr. noted there were no objections, the Strategic Plan Work Session adjourned at
12:27 p.m.
