March 15, 2023 called meeting and executive session

                     CALLED MEETING AND EXECUTIVE SESSION
                                    OF THE
                      DEKALB COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION

                                        March 15, 2023

The DeKalb County Board of Education held its Called Meeting & Executive Session, March
15, 2023, in the Attorneys at Law Offices of Hall Booth Smith located at 191 Peachtree Street,
NE Atlanta, GA 30303.

Mr. Diijon DaCosta, Sr., Chair convened the meeting at 12:40 p.m. and noted the following were
in attendance; Mrs. Anna Hill, Mrs. Deirdre Pierce, Mrs. Allyson Gevertz, Mrs. Whitney
McGinniss. Dr. Joyce Morley and Mrs. Vickie B. Turner attended virtually.

Also in attendance were General Counsel Attorney, Ms. Melanie Slaton and Dr. Yolanda
Williamson, Executive Administrator to the Board.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Mr. DaCosta, Sr. requested that the DeKalb County Board of Education adopt the March 15,
2023, called meeting and executive session agenda.

There being no objection, the agenda was approved.

ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mr. DaCosta, Sr. called for a motion to adjourn March 15, 2023, called meeting to an executive
session for the purpose of discussing permitted matters regarding litigation, land, legal,
personnel, and student appeals.

Motion by Mrs. Pierce to adjourn to executive session, seconded by Mrs. McGinniss, the March
15, 2023, called meeting adjourned to Executive Session.


ADJOURN
Mr. DaCosta, Sr. requested that the DeKalb County Board of Education adjourn the March 15,
2023, executive session and called meeting.

Mr. DaCosta, Sr. noted there were no objections, the called meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
