                 VIRTUAL BOARD RETREAT and EXECUTIVE SESSION
                                   OF THE
                     DEKALB COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION

                                        October 20, 2022

The DeKalb County Board of Education held a virtual board retreat and executive session on
Thursday, October 20, 2022.

Mrs. Vickie B. Turner, Board Chair, called the meeting to order at 1:07pm and noted the
following were in attendance, Mrs. Vickie B. Turner, Board Chair, Mrs. Anna Hill, Mr. Marshall
D. Orson, Mrs. Deirdre Pierce, Mrs. Allyson Gevertz and Dr. Vasanne Tinsley, Interim
Superintendent. Mr. Diijon DaCosta, Sr., Vice Chair and Dr. Joyce Morley were not in
attendance.

Also in attendance were Mr. Clem Doyle, General Counsel Attorney, Ms. Clara Axam and Ms.
Jilo Tisdale of Clarification and Mediation, Inc.

ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Mrs. Turner called for a motion to adopt the October 20, 2022 virtual board retreat agenda.

Being there were no objections, the virtual board retreat agenda was approved.

ADJOURN TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Board did not participate in an executive session.

Mrs. Turner called for a motion to adjourn the October 20, 2022 virtual board retreat.

Being there were no objections, the October 20, 2022 virtual board retreat adjourned at 3:49pm.
