To ensure a safe and healthy environment for the well-being of all students, it is the policy of the DeKalb County Board of Education that the DeKalb County School District maintain a cooperative relationship with other government agencies, including the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Public Health, the Department of Human Services, the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, the Juvenile Court, the Atlanta Regional Commission, the DeKalb County Planning Commission, the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, and the DeKalb County Grand Jury. The Superintendent shall cooperate with these and other agencies when in the best interest of the District.
