It is the policy of the DeKalb County Board of Education to work cooperatively with eligible state public or private post-secondary institutions to provide eligible students with an opportunity to take approved courses, full-time or part-time, at the post-secondary level as outlined in State Board rule 160-4-2-.34 Dual Enrollment. Students may receive post-secondary credit hours, high school credit and state funding in accordance with state law and regulations. Students or parents/guardians may request additional information from their school counselors regarding these programs.
The Superintendent or a designee shall adopt a regulation to implement dual enrollment programs in the District in accordance with state law and regulations.
