Basic Program
PROGRAM OF INSTRUCTION
MISSION: To ensure that a quality program for teaching and learning is operational for Pre-Kindergarten students, a program of Pre-Kindergarten instruction will be provided if and only if all of the following conditions are met annually:

Students are four years of age by September 1st of the participation year;

Adequate funding is appropriated and received from the appropriate state entity; and

The district has sufficient local funds to support the Pre-Kindergarten program.

State Lottery-funded Pre-Kindergarten Program
The program of instruction in Pre-Kindergarten shall include the state-mandated assessments and content offerings identified below or any other curriculum content areas and assessments that the state mandates at any time.
