Each school in the DeKalb County School District will have a local school council, called the Principal Advisory Council, that meets state law requirements and advises in a manner consistent with the Principal Advisory Council bylaws.
The school council's role in the principal selection process is advisory as specified in regulation BBFA-R (1): Local School Councils. Each charter school will have a nonprofit governing board, which fulfills the local school council requirement. ~~~~
