                                     – E-SPLOST VII collections begin

E -SPLOST VII Resolution                                     For the DeKalb County School District

Resolution Content
•Calls for voter referendum to renew E-SPLOST 1-cent sales tax
 in DeKalb County for the period of July 1, 2027 to June 30,2032
 to raise no more than $1,046,154,324.00 collectively
•Establishes the division of sales tax revenues between DeKalb
 County School District, Atlanta Independent School System,
 and City Schools of Decatur based on ratio of FTE Enrollment
 October 2026
•Establishes a cap on sales tax collection for DCSD of
 $946,773,776.00
•Approves authorization of a Board issuance of an E-SPLOST
 backed General Obligation bond up to $500,000,000 if desired
•Approves use of E-SPLOST revenues at all DCSD facilities and
 properties for the following purposes:
    o New Construction
    o Acquiring and developing land
    o Renovation
    o Technology Improvements
    o Vehicle & Capital Equipment Purchase
