                      Austin Elementary School Girls’ Soccer Champions

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
             The Austin Elementary School girls’ soccer team is committed to working hard representing DeKalb
             Athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Austin Elementary School girls’ soccer team won the 2025 Elementary DeKalb County Girls’
             Soccer Championships overall title; and

WHEREAS:     Under the direction of coaches Kira Dunkerley and Angela Mickle the girls defeated Henderson Mill
             4-0 for the title; and

WHEREAS:     Austin also won the Area 1 championship to reach the county championships; and


THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
             of the Austin Elementary School girls’ soccer team for having achieved one of the highest levels
             attainable by an elementary soccer team. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this 9th
             day of February 2026.
