             Stephenson High School Boys’ Cross Country Region Champions

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
             The Stephenson High School boys’ cross-country team are committed to working hard and
             representing DeKalb Athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Stephenson High School boys’ cross-country team won the 2025 Region 5-3A boys’ team title; and

WHEREAS:     Under the direction of coaches Tendai Hill and Donald Sellers, the Jaguars placed four runners in the
             Top 10 of the region individual standings on the way to claiming the title; and

WHEREAS:     Senior Chad Brooks paced the Jaguars’ victory with a first-place finish in a time of 18:53.20; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
             of the Stephenson High School boys’ cross-country team for having achieved one of the highest levels
             attainable by a high school cross country team. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this
             9th day of February 2026.
