              Kittredge Magnet Elementary School Boys’ Soccer Champions

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
             The Kittredge Magnet Elementary School boys’ soccer team is committed to working hard
             representing DeKalb Athletics; and

WHEREAS:     The Kittredge Magnet Elementary School boys’ soccer team won the 2025 Elementary DeKalb County
             Boys’ Soccer Championships overall title; and

WHEREAS:     Under the direction of coaches Juan Serrato and Laurie Smith the boys defeated Smoke Rise
             Elementary in thrilling overtime, landing 3-2 penalty kicks for the title; and

WHEREAS:     Kittredge also won the Area 1 championship to reach the county championships; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
             of the Kittredge Magnet Elementary School boys’ soccer team for having achieved one of the highest
             levels attainable by an elementary soccer team. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this
             9th day of February 2026.
