             Ronald E. McNair Middle School Girls’ Flag Football County Champions

WHEREAS:        The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
                The McNair Middle School girls’ flag football team is committed to working hard representing DeKalb
                athletics; and

WHEREAS:        The McNair Middle School girls’ flag football team won the 2025 DeKalb County middle school flag
                football championship; and

WHEREAS:        Under the direction of coaches Jascha Bailey and assistant coaches Kentrell Hutton and Doran Carroll,
                the McNair Middle School girls’ flag football team defeated Peachtree 19-0 to capture the county
                title. McNair Middle finished 8-0 in the inaugural season for middle school flag football in DeKalb
                County; and

WHEREAS:        McNair advanced to play in the Battle of the Metro Tournament where the team finished second
                overall, including a win in the semifinals; and
THEREFORE:      We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
                of the McNair Middle School girls’ flag football team for having achieved one of the highest levels
                attainable by a middle school flag football team. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this
                9th day of February 2026.
