                 Stephenson High School Cheerleading Region Champions

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is dedicated to developing students academically and athletically.
             The Stephenson High School cheer team is committed to working hard representing DeKalb Athletics;
             and

WHEREAS:     The Stephenson High School cheer team won the 2025 Region 5-3A competition cheer championship;
             and

WHEREAS:     Under the direction of coach Corliesha Gray, the Jaguar cheer squad earned top performance honors
             at the Region Championships; and

WHEREAS:     This marks the second consecutive year the Stephenson High School cheer team captured the region
             championship; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, acknowledge the outstanding athletic accomplishments
             of the Stephenson High School cheer team for having achieved one of the highest levels attainable by
             a high school competition cheer squad. In official recognition, we affix our signatures on this 9th day
             of February 2026.
