               RECOGNITION
                     Honoring Chamblee High School Softball Team

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is committed to fostering academic and athletic
             development in students; and

WHEREAS:     The Chamblee High School Softball Team has consistently demonstrated hard work,
             dedication, and pride in representing DeKalb County School District athletics; and

WHEREAS:     We celebrate the Chamblee High School Softball Team, led by Coach Nathan Berryman, for
             winning the Region 4-5A softball title; and

WHEREAS:     The Lady Bulldogs swept their first-round best-of-three Class 5A playoff series advancing to the
             Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season; and

WHEREAS:     The Chamblee senior class has made two Elite Eight appearances and has a DeKalb County-
             best 102 wins over four years; and


THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, hereby recognize and honor the Chamblee High
             School Lady Bulldog Softball Team for their outstanding athletic achievements, reaching one
             of the highest levels of success attainable in high school softball. In official recognition, we affix
             our signatures on this 13th day of January 2025.
