               RECOGNITION
                   Honoring DeKalb School of the Arts One Act Play


WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is committed to fostering the academic and athletic
             development in students; and

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb School of the Arts One Act Play Team has consistently demonstrated hard work,
             dedication, and pride in representing DeKalb County School District; and

WHEREAS:     We celebrate the DeKalb School of the Arts One Act Play Team, led by Coach Tawana Parker-
             Bellamy, for winning the Region 5-A Division 1 title with their performance at the regional
             competition; and

WHEREAS:     The DeKalb School of the Arts One Act Play Team competed at state level on November 23rd
             at Houston County High School; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, hereby recognize and honor the DeKalb School
             of the Arts One Act Play Team for their outstanding achievement in reaching one of the highest
             levels of success attainable by a high school one-act play program. In official recognition, we
             affix our signatures on this 13th day of January 2025.
