               RECOGNITION
                    Honoring Chamblee High School Volleyball Team


WHEREAS:     The DeKalb County School District is committed to fostering academic and athletic
             development in students; and

WHEREAS:     The Chamblee High School Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team has consistently demonstrated hard
             work, dedication, and pride in representing DeKalb County School District athletics; and

WHEREAS:     We celebrate the Chamblee High School Lady Bulldogs Volleyball Team, led by Coach Lorri
             Reynolds, for winning their first-round 5A playoff match three sets to one, advancing to the
             Sweet 16; and

WHEREAS:     The team finished the season with a record of 32-13 and placed second in the Area 4-5A
             standings, earning a home match in the Class 5A state playoffs; and

THEREFORE:   We, the DeKalb County Board of Education, do hereby acknowledge the great athletic
             accomplishments of the Chamblee High School Volleyball Team for having achieved one of the
             highest levels attainable by a high school volleyball program. In official recognition, whereof, we
             hereby affix our signatures, this 13th day of January 2025.
