a. Lysol and Frontline Impact Project Donation of Lysol Wipes to DeKalb County School District

Summary: Presented by: Mr. Erick Hofstetter, Chief Operating Officer, Division of Operations
Request: In accordance with Board Policy DFK, Gifts and Bequests, it is requested that the Board of Education accept a donation of Lysol wipes totaling $134,100.00 from Lysol and Frontline Impact to the DeKalb County School District.
Why: This school year, Lysol and Frontline Impact Project teamed up with the “Here for Healthy Schools” campaign, to donate Lysol disinfectant wipes to teachers across America aimed at reducing the spread of germs and keeping kids in school.
Details: Ms. Rebecca Kafka, teacher at Stone Mountain Elementary School, initially nominated her school to receive a donation of Lysol Wipes. As a result, Lysol and the Frontline Impact Project will be donating wipes to all schools in the district. Lysol will deliver one full truckload with 40 pallets of wipes to the school district upon Board of Education acceptance of the donation. The wipes will be distributed to schools/classrooms throughout the district. These wipes will help to reduce the spread of germs and keep our students healthy so that they can be in school.

Dear Mr. Hofstetter,

Frontline Impact Project, a program of the Lubetzky Family Foundation, is working with Lysol®️
to donate 14 million packs of disinfectant wipes to teachers across America to keep kids in
school as part of Lysol®️’s Here for Healthy Schools campaign. Frontline Impact is pleased to
offer this donation opportunity to Dekalb County School District for the 2022 - 2023 school year.

Pending the eligibility criteria, available on frontlineimpact.org/wipes, Frontline Impact Project
will donate one full truckload of Lysol disinfecting wipes to Dekalb County School District. The
donation includes 40 pallets or 30,000 packs of wipes, which, based on the manufacturer’s
suggested retail price, has a total value of $134,100.00. There is no cost to Dekalb County
School District to receive this donation.

In order to receive this donation from the Frontline Impact Project, Dekalb County School District
must meet the eligibility, agree to the terms and conditions, and follow the procedures outlined
by the Frontline Impact Project team prior to February 2023.

The Lubetzky Family Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable entity, launched Frontline
Impact Project in April 2020 as a matchmaking and vetting platform to support COVID-19
frontline workers. As the world continues to face challenges, our platform connects those on the
frontlines of communities and crises with an unmet need with donors that want to help.
