Request: It is requested that the Board of Education accept the donation of $21,480 from the Livsey Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, as a one-time donation per Board Policy DFK “Gifts and Bequests Guidelines”, for the installation of a new illuminated marquee sign at Livsey Elementary School.
Why: The purpose is to accept a donation to cover the cost of materials, delivery, design and construction services and installation of a new illuminated marquee sign with reader board at Livsey Elementary School.
Details: The Livsey Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is requesting approval to accept their one-time donation of $21,480 for the design, cost of materials, and delivery and installation services for a new illuminated marquee sign with reader board to be fabricated and installed by MetroLED Light & Sign.

The DeKalb County School District Operations Division has worked with the Livsey Elementary School Administration and Livsey Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization to ensure these improvements meet all design and construction standards and guidelines. Also, the Operations

Factory warranty does not cover any onsite service repairs or damages and losses of any parts due to theft, acts of nature, or
mishandling. In addition, if the model that you purchase is discontinued or not in stock, at the discretion of Metro LED, Metro LED will
provide a warranty replacement that it determines to be a comparable product. Customer will have 30 calendar days from the day of
shipment to return warranty claimed item. If the defective item is not returned within 30 calendar days, the customer will be billed in full
for replacement item. If the item claimed under warranty is returned, a credit for the replacement will be applied to the account. No
refunds after 7 days of purchase and product must be returned in new condition. A 30% restocking fees will be charged on all returns
for open boxes or used products. Goods title will remain the property of Metro Led LLC until invoice is fully paid. Customer gives full
rights to take out the goods from the premise of the business if balance is not paid in full within 60 days from the date on invoice.
Corporation and individual are responsible for all unpaid invoices. Warranty is void if misuse, neglect, and tampering caused the
defect. Purchaser assumes full responsibility of securing required permits with the city or county. If it becomes necessary to place this
contract with an attorney for collection, buyers agree personally as well as said company to pay all collection costs and attorney fees.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Georgia in Dekalb County and all suits will be filed in Dekalb County in
Georgia. All quotes valid for 30 Days.
